Majorca Golf
There are golf courses on Majorca for golfers of all levels; they are set in beautiful surroundings with magnificent views of the sea and mountains.

There are 20 excellent golf courses on Majorca to choose from at the moment as the island comes to the end of expansion that has seen 4 new courses completed in the past 3 years. Most of the courses is located in the south west of the island with close proximity to Palma de Majorca, but others can be found in the north and east.

The climate in Majorca is perfect for golf, with hot summer sun but refreshing sea breezes, little rain, mild winters and an average yearly temperature of 21 degrees. When playing in the summer it makes good sense to book an early tee time since it can get rather hot in the afternoons.

Among the best courses are: Golf Son Vida, 13 kilometers east of Palma and the first Majorca golf course, built in 1964; Golf de Bendinat, five kilometers from Palma with terrific sea views; Golf de Santa Ponca, one of the islands championship courses with water hazards on five holes; Golf Andratx, only opened in 2000 and the most expensive on the island; and Pula Golf, a difficult course with narrow fairways.
